HAMPTON INN FORT LAUDERDALE DOWNTOWN LAS OLAS AREA, Fort Lauderdale – Your ideal downtown stay

My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were ready early and clean, with a super comfy bed, but the smell of cigarette smoke was a big downside. The service was the only nice part, as the staff was friendly and even drove me to the airport on time for my flight. The location was convenient with shuttle service to the airport and Las Olas, but I didn't feel very safe to walk around. The dining experience was mediocre, lacking nutritional choices, and a delay in the delivery of breakfast items. Overall, it was a decent stay with room for improvement.

The service was quick, especially with getting vehicles, and the staff, especially Ann at the front desk, were very helpful and accommodating, even rescuing my forgotten mobile phone. The location, though slightly misleading in terms of proximity to Los Olas Avenue, was still within walking distance to the main restaurant area. The dining options were plentiful, although some dishes were not well-cooked, and the fruit salads were a standout. The facilities were good overall.
